School Day Schedule
Roebuck Elementary School opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m. each day.
The School Day Schedule is as follows:
7:00 a.m. - 7:40 a.m. - Breakfast program
7:40 a.m. - Students Report to Classrooms
7:45 a.m. - Tardy Bell Rings
2:30 p.m. - Car Riders Dismissed
2:30 p.m. - Bus Students Dismissed (Approximate)
Students should not be left at school before 7:00 a.m.
Since the school day begins promptly at 7:45 a.m., it is extremely important for all children to be on time. If on rare occasions your child arrives after 7:45, you should come to the school office with your child to sign the appropriate form. This process will ensure that your child is counted present for the day.
Early Dismissal
The regular school day for elementary school is from 7:45 am until 2:30 pm. It is very important that students be at school for the entire instructional day. If it is necessary for a student to leave school early, the following procedures will be followed:
1. The student should bring a written note to the classroom teacher stating the time and reason for early dismissal. The classroom teacher will send the note to the office to be filed in the Early Dismissal notebook.
2. The parent/guardian must come to the office and sign the child out before leaving.
A Change in Transportation
Please make sure after school bus, car, or walking arrangements are made before your child leaves each morning. If there is a change from the normal routine, you must send a note to your child's teacher. Children will not be allowed to verbally change their method of going home. In the absence of a note, the child will be sent home the normal way. Should an emergency arise during the day, please call the school office at 864-576-6151. Calls should be made before 2:00 pm, if possible
