Who am I?
My name is Tara Burgess, and I am originally from Mobile, Alabama. I moved to Spartanburg to attend Converse College where I earned my bachelors and masters degree in education. I have been a teacher at Roebuck Elementary for 21 years where I have taught 5th and 4th grades. I have two children-- Sara (a Sophomore at USC Upstate studying nursing) and Parker (a Junior at Dorman High School who is a member of the band and Varsity golf team)-- and a beagle named Stella. I enjoy taking pictures and working in my yard in my free time.
I look forward to getting to know you all and helping everyone grow academically and socially.
